Excerpts from ancient Obbian texts founds at a garage sale. I tried to piece it together as a chronological narrative to the best of my abilities. My apologies in advance.
The Grey One created the giant Obb
to keep the other giants from his wife
for she was the giantess Thesia
from which all sound came and
captivated the giants, but Obb had
no ears, only one giant eye that spun
in all directions, but he still fell in love
with Thesia and battled the Grey One
and his eye Obbus was plucked from battle
and his body cut into four parts
from those four parts came four pairs
of twins to watch over the Obbus

and Umes and Unur ruleth that beneath the land

…the Obbus, the all of them,
Obb, their father on whom they and man live,
but to Umes and Unur man may not pay tribute
for they are to remain unmoved by the dead
except for their living deeds

Ferdae chases the Nenini and the Nenini
chases Ferdae, gentle blue Ferdae,
whose caretaker is Pheogus, Ferdae
who gallops across the sky all day, as
the Nenini, Phaecate's black wolves
of the night sky, hide and hunt in packs

Obbus watches over Obb's kin
for they are to destroy the Grey One?
How?!
For they are all fools bound to hatred
of their twin,
Obb shall never again be one
his pieces will fight to the end of his eye
when the Grey One returns
and feeds it to his feathered serpent

my lost cestus from my father's
father's enemies and punishment
shall be lifted and Tressa shall be yours.'

Ukor, the greatest king of Filidor,
spikes did cover his hands, yet his
touch was gentle in all his dealings
with his subjects and servants, his lineage
extended to Arbus where the throne
did once bear his crest.
